Education
The reserve’s education and outreach programs offer varied curriculum for grades K-12, college and adult education class instruction, and create workshops for public and adult organizations. The reserve designs specific workshops for coastal decision-makers and environmental user groups.
Education programs include hands-on activities for K-12 school groups, tours for adult groups and self-guided boardwalks for the general public who visit the Interpretive Center. Seminars, workshops, lectures and special events are held throughout the year. Workshops designed to address important coastal issues are offered for coastal resource managers and other coastal decision-makers. Training sessions for volunteer water quality monitors are also an integral part of the education programs at the reserve.
